pokyt documentation
comprehensive guide to everything pokyt. from setup to advanced features, we kept it simple but thorough.
pokyt is a unified wallet management platform that consolidates all your crypto addresses into a single, shareable link. whether you're managing ethereum, solana, bitcoin, or any of our 20+ supported chains, pokyt provides one clean url that does everything.
no more copy-pasting 42-character hex addresses. no more "which wallet did i use for that chain?" no more maintaining separate links for each network. just one professional link that displays all your wallets with live portfolio tracking, qr codes, and optional gating features.
$ what you'll learn
- > setting up your pokyt profile in under 60 seconds
- > adding and managing wallets across multiple chains
- > leveraging advanced features like portfolio tracking and token gating
- > earning points toward $pokyt token allocation
- > integrating pokyt into your business or creator workflow
let's get you set up. $
# creating your page
creating your pokyt profile takes less than a minute. here's the complete walkthrough:
- 1. navigate to the homepage and click "get started" in the top right corner
- 2. choose your authentication method: google oauth for one-click signup, or email for a magic link (no passwords required)
- 3. select a unique username — this becomes pokyt.link/yourname and serves as your permanent public profile url
- 4. your page goes live immediately. you're now ready to add wallets and customize your profile.
! username selection
choose carefully — usernames are permanent and cannot be changed after registration. we recommend:
- > using your brand name or personal handle
- > keeping it short and memorable (3-20 characters)
- > avoiding numbers or special characters unless they're part of your brand
note: username changes are on the roadmap but not currently supported.
% security & privacy
we never store your private keys or have access to your funds. pokyt only stores public wallet addresses — the same addresses you'd share publicly anyway. all authentication is handled through secure oauth providers or encrypted magic links.
# adding wallets
once your profile is created, you can start adding wallets from any supported blockchain. the process is intentionally streamlined:
- 1. navigate to your dashboard (accessible via the header after login)
- 2. click the "add wallet" button in the sidebar or main panel
- 3. select your blockchain from the dropdown (ethereum, solana, bitcoin, polygon, arbitrum, optimism, base, and 15+ more)
- 4. paste your public wallet address — pokyt validates the format automatically
- 5. optionally add a label (e.g., "main wallet," "trading wallet," "cold storage")
- 6. set visibility: public (visible to everyone), private (only you), or gated (signature tier only)
- 7. save and repeat for all your wallets
$ unlimited wallets
add as many wallets as you need across all supported chains. there are no limits on any tier, including the free core plan. most users add 3-10 wallets, but power users manage 50+ addresses across multiple networks.
! address validation
pokyt automatically validates wallet addresses using chain-specific formatting rules:
- > ethereum/evm chains: 42-character hex addresses starting with 0x
- > solana: base58-encoded 32-44 character addresses
- > bitcoin: legacy (1...), segwit (3...), or bech32 (bc1...)
if you enter an invalid address, pokyt will notify you before saving. always double-check addresses before sharing your page.
$ portfolio checker
pokyt automatically displays your real-time wallet balances on your profile. no more manually updating or hiding empty wallets.
what we show:
- > total portfolio value (usd)
- > native token balances (eth, sol, btc, matic, etc)
- > erc-20 token counts
- > individual wallet breakdown
- > live usd values (updated every 5 minutes)
supported chains:
ethereum, solana, bitcoin, polygon, arbitrum, optimism, base. more coming soon.
! note
portfolio data is fetched on-demand and cached for performance. if your balance looks off, refresh the page. we're working on real-time updates.
$ rewards & points
every action on pokyt earns you points. points = future $pokyt token allocation. the more you use pokyt, the more you earn.
how to earn:
- +1 point per profile view
- +5 points per share
- +100 points per referral
tier multipliers:
- core (free): 1x multiplier
- prime ($5/mo): 2x multiplier on all points
- signature ($10/mo): 5x multiplier on all points
referral system:
every user gets a unique referral code. share your link, earn 100 points for each friend who signs up. no limits. your friends also get bonus points for using your code.
leaderboard:
check out /leaderboard to see where you rank. top 100 users are shown with medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
! future use
points will determine your allocation in the $pokyt token airdrop. exact details in the whitepaper. airdrop planned for 6 months after launch.
$ qr codes
every wallet gets an instant qr code. no extra steps, no downloads.
someone wants to send you crypto irl? pull up your walyt page, show the qr code, they scan. boom. no typing. no mistakes. no "wait let me find that address."
perfect for:
- > conferences & events
- > accepting tips at meetups
- > selling stuff in person
- > showing off (we support this)
$ custom themes
core tier: basic customization. profile pic, display name, choose from preset colors.
prime tier: full theme control. custom colors, layouts, fonts. make it truly yours.
signature tier: everything in prime + custom domain. host it at yourname.com instead of walyt.link/yourname.
% custom domains
signature members can point their own domain to their walyt page. you handle dns, we handle everything else.
$ analytics
prime & signature tiers get analytics. see:
- > total page views
- > clicks on each wallet
- > which chains people are using
- > geographic data (country level, not creepy)
- > referral sources (where traffic comes from)
we don't track personal info. no cookies. no selling your data. just useful metrics.
$ token gating
signature tier feature. hide content behind requirements.
you can gate wallets behind:
- > nft ownership (must hold specific nft to see wallet)
- > token holdings (must hold X tokens)
- > tips (pay small amount to unlock)
perfect for creators who want to reward holders or monetize exclusive access.
! example use case
you're a creator with a public tip wallet and a private collaboration wallet. gate the collab wallet behind nft ownership. only holders can see it and submit proposals.
$ privacy controls
not everything needs to be public. you control what's visible.
for each wallet, you can:
- > make it public (everyone sees)
- > make it private (only you see)
- > gate it (requires token/nft - signature tier)
maybe you want your eth address public for tips but your btc address private. your page, your rules.
# supported chains
we support all the major chains. here's the current list:
we're constantly adding more. if there's a chain you need, let us know.
# request new chains
need a chain we don't support yet? let us know.
we prioritize based on demand. if enough people ask for a chain, we'll add it. usually takes 1-2 weeks.
! for creators
if you're making stuff (art, music, content, whatever), pokyt is perfect for you.
use cases:
- > accept tips across multiple chains
- > share nft collection addresses
- > gate exclusive content behind nft ownership
- > one link in all your bios
stop managing ten different addresses. just share your pokyt link.
! for daos
daos have a lot of addresses. treasury wallets, multisigs, token contracts, donation addresses...
keep them all in one place. customize it with your dao's branding. looks way more professional than a messy discord channel.
signature tier lets you use your own domain, so it's yourdao.com/wallets instead of pokyt.link/yourdao.
! for traders
if you're active on multiple chains, you probably have multiple wallets. maybe too many wallets. we've all been there.
pokyt gives you one dashboard to manage them all. keep track of which wallet you use for what. never lose track again.
! for businesses
accepting crypto payments? pokyt makes it professional.
- > custom domain with your branding
- > analytics to see which chains customers prefer
- > one link for all payment options
- > pokyt pay checkout links for products
# security & privacy
we don't store your private keys. ever.
we only store your public addresses. we can't access your funds. we can't move your crypto. we can't sign transactions.
think of pokyt like a phone book, but for wallet addresses. we organize them, we display them prettily, but we never have access to the actual wallets.
your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. our servers are secured. we take this seriously because no one wants their wallet info leaked.
# best practices
- > double-check addresses before adding them. once someone sends crypto to the wrong address, it's gone.
- > use privacy controls. not every wallet needs to be public.
- > enable 2fa on your pokyt account. settings > security.
- > for large amounts, consider using a dedicated receiving wallet that you monitor closely.
